Michael Franzese spoke to VladTV about his father being investigated by the police for ten years for his involvement in the Colombo crime family and seeing police outside of his house every day. He then spoke about his family having to devise escape routes and having dust-ups with the police while growing up. Michael also explained how he was going to college and was pre-med when his father was sentenced to 50 years, which led Michael to join Joe Colombo picketing the FBI with the Italian American Civil Rights League.
