Utah Jazz player Kyle Korver recently wrote an op-ed titled ‘Privileged’ where he spoke very candidly on racism and privilege inside and outside of the NBA.

In one portion of the piece, Korver delivered an honest take on actions conducted by past generations of white people and the guilt tied to that. Korver said “As white people, are we guilty for the sins of our forefathers? No, I don’t think so. But are we responsible for them? Yes, I believe we are.”

From there, Korver went on to give his thoughts on the different types of racism that affect people of color, and what white people should be focusing on in order to help combat systemic racism.
