Although Giannis Antetokounmpo has turned into a household name thanks to his unparalleled ability on the basketball court, the player best known as "The Greek Freak" is apparently resistant to embrace all of his newfound fame. That reality was made evident when Antetokounmpo was recently interviewed by ESPN's Malika Andrews, where the NBA All-Star revealed that he recently turned down a role in the highly anticipated film "Space Jam 2."

"I don't like being Hollywood," Antetokounmpo said in regards to why he turned it down, "I don't like all this extra drama. I am just going to try to be me."

With that said, the production behind the blockbuster sequel is still full steam ahead, as it remains scheduled for a July 16, 2021 release date with LeBron James replacing Michael Jordan in the starring role.
