Lil Nas X's "Old Town Road" Set to Break Drake's "God's Plan" Streaming Record

History continues to be made by Lil Nas X with his hit record "Old Town Road," as his breakthrough single has now reportedly broken the single week streaming record previously held by Drake.

The 20-year-old artist from Atlanta took to his IG to celebrate the news, posting an image that stated "Old Town Road" had amassed 80 million streams in a week, beating out "God's Plan" which held the record at 69 million. 

The post even made a point to say that Lil Nas X "shattered" the record, which ChartData verified while noting that streams from the Billy Ray Cyrus remix were included as well. As for the caption, the rising star simply wrote: "LEGENDARY!"
