A Florida teen by the name of Sol Pais made news headlines after it was revealed that the girl traveled to Colorado with plans of massacring a local school as an homage to the deadly Columbine shooting 20-years ago. The young woman was found dead from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound after a 24-hour manhunt was waged to find her.
According to the information authorities gathered, Pais bought a one-way plane ticket to Denver and purchased a new shotgun upon arrival. The teen didn't make any specific plans for a particular school in the area, but Columbine and about 20 other schools still took the necessary active-shooter precautions by locking down the campus.
