Kim Kardashian has been on a personal crusade against mass incarceration and isn't looking to ease up on her mission anytime soon. As part of a new campaign called 90 Days of Freedom launched by Kardashian's lawyer Brittany K. Barnett and MiAngel Cody of The Decarceration Collective, Kim K and her legal team spent the last three months helping at 17 inmates gain their freedom, each of whom was doing a life bid for non-violent drug offenses.
As Barnett and Cody handle the heavy lifting in terms of the legal side, Kardashian is funding the entire operation. While these 17 cases are important, Kardashian, Barnett, and Cody have expressed that this is only the beginning of the work they're looking to do around this area of concern.
