According to a report from Bloomberg, Apple is planning to phase out iTunes, which they will announce at their Worldwide Developers Conference starting on Monday (June 3).
iTunes has served as the home for users’ music, television and podcast libraries since 2001 and it will be phased out for three new standalone music, television and podcast apps. The same format is being used on current iPhones and iPads.
