Lil Durk recently turned himself to the Fulton County jail and was denied bond. The rapper is facing a bunch of charges, including criminal attempt to commit murder and more. Now, an interview with the rapper and WSB-TV has surfaced where he is proclaiming his innocence in the situation he turned himself in for.

While talking to the outlet, Durk noted that he and his team found out about the warrant for his arrest while he was traveling, saying “We found out we had a warrant actually while on tour. Once I heard, I immediately came back." Durk noted that he did not shoot the victim, and also said “I have nothing to hide. I have nothing to run from.”  Watch above.

Lil Durk was denied bond on Friday (May 31), just 24-hours after turning himself over to the Fulton County Jail. According to XXL, Durk believes he's innocent of the five felony charges he's facing, which stem from a Feb. 5 shooting outside Atlanta's The Varsity restaurant. Outside of the courthouse, Durk told local media outlets, "I have nothing to hide. I have nothing to run from." 

Durk is facing charges of criminal attempt to commit murder, aggravated assault (shooting at), unlawful for person employed by/associated with criminal street gang to conduct/participate in crime, possession of firearm during commission of a felony (vgcsa) and possession of firearm by convicted felon.

News cameras captured the scene when Lil Durk turned himself in Thursday (May 20) evening for a slew of charges against him in connection to a shooting, as his attorney went on record to say that her client is "extremely positive" as "he knows that he's done nothing wrong." 

Meanwhile, Durk's attorney also stated that the unidentified victim, who ultimately survived the shooting in February after undergoing surgery, is actually in jail for shooting up a Chicago night club.

Lil Durk turned himself over to police on Thursday (May 20) evening on charges of criminal attempt to commit murder. He's also facing charges of aggravated assault, unlawful for a person employed by/associated with a criminal street gang to conduct/participate in criminal activity, possession of a firearm during commission of a felony (vgcsa) and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.  

After canceling shows, Durk headed to Georgia to turn himself in around 9 pm ET. His first court appearance is scheduled for Friday (May 31). 

Durk's OTF affiliate King Von was booked on May 17 for the same shooting connected to Durk's charges, and he was charged with aggravated assault, criminal attempt to commit murder, participation in street gang activity, possession of firearm by convicted felon and possession of firearm during commission for a shooting.

Although Lil Durk went on Instagram Wednesday (May 29) to announce that he was turning himself in today, he apparently hasn't followed through yet as a warrant has been issued for his arrest.

Furthermore, more information has come out in terms of his legal trouble, as law enforcement sources have told TMZ that following his arrest Durk will be booked on five felony charges in connection to an Atlanta shooting.

The shooting in question occurred on February 5th at 5:45 AM at a popular restaurant called "The Varsity," where arriving officers found an unidentified man suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was then rushed to the hospital where he survived through surgery, while police say they recovered 13 shell casings from a rifle at the crime scene. 

It's also been reported that the authorities have surveillance footage of the shooting, as Durk is set to be charged with criminal intent to commit murder, aggravated assault, possession of a firearm during commission of a felony, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and another charge of associating with a criminal street gang to participate in a crime.

Lil Durk alluded to being in some legal trouble on Wednesday after posting on Instagram, "Turning myself in tomorrow." It's unclear what Durk could be turning himself in for, but he got support from fellow Chicago rapper Chance the Rapper, who told Lil Durk, "Hold your head brudda." 

Lil Durk's last known arrest was in 2013 after he was accused of throwing a .40 caliber gun in his car when police approached him in Chicago. He was arrested and charged with unlawful use of a weapon by a felon and released on bond.
