In this flashback from 2010, the late Frank Lucas spoke to VladTV about his biography released the following year titled "Original Gangster: The Real Life Story of One of America's Most Notorious Drug Lords," while noting that the book was nothing but the truth in comparison to the Hollywood movie where he was depicted by Denzel Washington.
With that said, Lucas made a point to proclaim Washington to be "the best of the best" in the film industry, while also adding that he really enjoyed the conversations he had with Common and T.I. who also acted in the aforementioned 2007 film "American Gangster."
Elsewhere in the interview, Lucas spoke about his dealings with Diddy's father Melvin Combs and infamous crime lord Bumpy Johnson, as he further addressed his critics who labeled him a snitch by detailing those circumstances and saying "I got them back for good."
