Aries Spears went viral about two years ago after he appeared on Corey Holcomb's 5150 podcast. However, Spears didn't go viral for anything funny he said but for folding up while Holcomb's co-host Zo Williams teed off on him. During his interview with Comedy Hype, Aries opened up about the situation and explained why he didn't feel compelled to fight back.
He dispelled the notion that he was "drunk" during the ordeal and said that he had clearly gotten to Zo Williams with his jokes. Spears said that he didn't want to react on impulse because the situation could have escalated beyond the situation everyone saw. Nevertheless, Aries said "I took an L on that."
