According to a report, a home in Newton County, Georgia was vandalized with graffiti that said “Crips!!” However, the graffiti ended up going viral because many are questioning if the crips were even involved in the vandalism at all. One tag placed on the garage of the home featured what appeared to be cursive, which is not typical of a gang tag. From there, people on social media began to clown the tags.
A neighbor of the home named Mary Smith spoke on the graffiti, saying “I couldn't believe it when I saw it ‘cause we don't have that in this neighborhood. It’s quiet out here.” At three more houses in that neighborhood were vandalized as well.
