It looks like LeBron James isn't the only superstar player switching numbers. The newly signed Brooklyn Net, Kevin Durant, announced on July 7th at 7 PM that he would be switching his customary #35 to #7 to start his new journey in Brooklyn. It's not entirely clear why Durant chose the number change but he may have dropped a few clues during this year's playoffs as he was seen rocking The Compound's signature No. 7 hat. In lieu of explaining the significance of #7, Durant explained the importance of #35 to him on a personal and professional level via his Thirty-Five Ventures IG account.
