NASA recently revealed a discovery of another possible Earth-like planet according to reports. The planet—GJ 357 d is six times larger than Earth and is located 31 light-years away.
The planet orbits a dwarf star and is located within the outer edge of its star’s habitable zone. This means the planet receives almost the same amount of stellar energy that Mars does from the sun. If GJ 357 d’s surface is dense enough, this means it could trap enough heat to enable liquid water on the planet’s surface.
