Colin Kaepernick's girlfriend, media host Nessa, denied recent reports that Jay-Z spoke with him before the Roc Nation x NFL partnership that was announced this week.
On Wednesday (August 14), Nessa took to Twitter to address a TMZ article that was titled "Jay-Z Spoke with Colin Kaepernick Ahead of NFL Partnership." She wrote, "THIS is a lie. COLIN never spoke to Jay-Z and NFL ahead of that deal being done. They NEVER included him in any discussion."
Nessa also seemed shocked at an article about Jay-Z's talks with the NFL starting last year, writing, "W O W. So this partnership deal started that long ago? I’m just at a loss for words."
Colin himself has yet to respond to the news.
