According to reports, Harvey Weinstein pleaded not guilty to new sex crime charges against him. Weinstein was hit with two new predatory sexual assault charges, which his lawyers say were consensual.
The charges were issued in a Manhattan criminal court, and it was noted that if the two new charges are duplicates of existing charges, the prosecutors will move forward with the new charges. It was also confirmed that ‘Sopranos’ actress Annabella Sciorra will testify against Weinstein in the trial. The trial for Weinstein will be delayed until January 2020.
