According to various outlets, Cameron James Petit was charged and taken into custody on Wednesday (September 4) morning for allegedly selling Mac Miller the Fentanyl-laced drugs that led to his overdose nearly one year ago. A criminal complaint obtained by NBC News revealed that Petit sold Miller counterfeit oxycodone pills that were laced with the synthetic opioid that is 50 times more potent than heroin.

The documents also revealed a response from Petit when asked by a friend how he was doing after Mac's death, and he replied by stating, "I am not great … Most likely I will die in jail."

More details to come.
