Famed NFL player Antonio Brown was publicly accused of rape by his former personal trainer, Britney Taylor, and photos have now surfaced of the former college gymnast. 

According to several outlets, Brown and Taylor first met at Central Michigan University, where Brown played college football and Taylor was a gymnast. According to Brown's lawyer, Taylor approached Brown to ask him to invest $1.6 million into her business, which he declined, leading Taylor to cut off all communication. She then resurfaced in 2018 to approach Brown about being his personal trainer for the upcoming season. 

On Tuesday (September 10), Taylor released a statement accusing Brown of raping her. 

"As a rape victim of Antonio Brown, deciding to speak out has been an incredibly difficult decision. I have found strength in my faith, my family, and from the accounts of other survivors of sexual assault.  Speaking out removes the shame that I have felt for the past year and places it on the person responsible for my rape. I will cooperate with the NFL and any other agencies; however, at this time, I respectfully request that the media please respect my privacy." 

Brown has denied all allegations by Taylor, with his lawyer claiming that they had consensual sex.

Antonio Brown may have resolved his football-related issues after signing with the New England Patriots, but the star wide receiver has some off-the-field problems to address now. According to multiple reports, Brown has been slapped with a lawsuit from a woman who claims that she was raped or sexually assaulted by AB on more than one occasion. 

The woman who brought the suit against Brown has been identified as Britney Taylor. She says that Brown hired her as a personal trainer and that the two initially met back in college at Central Michigan University where they were both student-athletes. According to the lawsuit, Taylor claims the first incident occurred in June 2017 when "Brown exposed himself and kissed [her] without her consent." After this encounter, Taylor says that Brown apologized and showed contrition in hopes that she would continue training him.

A little less than a year later Taylor claims that Brown sexually assaulted her, again. The lawsuit states that "Brown cornered [her] forced her down onto a bed, pushed her face into the mattress, and forcibly raped her." She claims to have resisted but Brown was "too strong and physically overpowered her." Despite her saying "No" and "Stop," Brown refused and penetrated her. 

Taylor is looking for compensation for "physical injuries, pain and suffering, humiliation, embarrassment, stress and anxiety, loss of self-esteem and self-confidence, and emotional pain and suffering." AB's lawyer Darren Heitner issued a statement vehemently denying the allegations. Heitner added that Taylor only filed the lawsuit after Brown refused to invest $1.6 million in a "business project" she pitched to him. 

Brown admits that the pair shared a "consensual personal relationship" and that she has continued to post pictures of herself with Brown in an attempt to benefit off of her association to him. AB claims that he will "pursue all legal remedies to not only clear his name, but to also protect other professional athletes against false accusations."
