Rapper Fredo Bang showed off a new chain that he got to honor the memory of his friend and fellow rapper Gee Money, who was killed two years ago in Baton Rouge.
Back in June, 24-year-old Deandre Fields was arrested and now faces one count of second-degree murder for Gee Money's death. It was also revealed that Fields is an associate of NBA YoungBoy, who had been feuding with Gee Money before his death. Gee Money addressed the beef during an interview with Say Cheese TV, where he said that NBA YoungBoy got a big head after seeing some success in the rap world. In the same interview, Gee Money spoke about rappers seeking attention by committing acts of violence.
Detectives in Gee Money's murder case wrote in the warrant for Fields' arrest, "In the days prior to [Gee Money's} death, both [Gee Money] and [NBA YoungBoy] made several social media posts about one another, which further exacerbated tensions between the two rival rap music groups. When [Gee Money] was killed, members of the NBA group were immediately developed as suspects due to … the ongoing rap music feud."
