Weeks after a photo surfaced of former NBA player Delonte West seemingly homeless on the streets of Dallas, a video was released of West dancing under a freeway. In the past, West has opened up about his struggles with mental health and he was reportedly diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder, although he is adamant that he was misdiagnosed. He has suggested that his behavior is a result of a combination of temporary depression and the stresses of being a professional athlete.
West played for the Boston Celtics, Seattle SuperSonics, Cleveland Cavaliers, Dallas Mavericks during his time with the NBA, earning more than $16 million. Some fans on social media have suggested that Mavs owner Mark Cuban should intervene to get West some help.
