Famed singer Eddie Money, known for hits like "Take Me Home Tonight," "Two Tickets to Paradise," and "Baby Hold On," passed away at 70. A source close to Money told TMZ that he died as a result of complications associated with his heart valve procedure from a few months ago.

Eddie's family released a statement following the news, which read, "The Money Family regrets to announce that Eddie passed away peacefully early this morning. It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to our loving husband and father. We cannot imagine our world without him. We are grateful that he will live on forever through his music."

This comes just days after Eddie revealed that he had been diagnosed with stage 4 esophageal cancer. Eddie is survived by his wife of more than 30 years, Laurie, and 5 children - Zachary, Jessica, Joseph, Julian, and Desmond.
