Ky-Mani admitted that he didn't know how his film was originally bootlegged but noted that the theater and DVD releases still garnered him a decent haul.
Ky-Mani also detailed working with the now-deceased actor Louie Rankin, who died in a car crash while shooting a film in Toronto.
