Cardi b recently sat down with T.I. for his ExpediTIously show, and she opened up about people criticizing her about things she's said in the past. Cardi explained that after sitting down with Bernie Sanders the media started bringing up her stripper past and painted her as someone who drugged and robbed men.
Earlier this year, a clip surfaced of Cardi talking about robbing men after going home with them from the strip club. She addressed the video on Instagram in a statement that read, "Whether or not they were poor choices at the time, I did what I had to do to survive. I never claimed to be perfect or come from a perfect world."
Cardi addressed the situation again while speaking to T.I., telling him that people have called her a rapist and compared her to Bill Cosby, which she believes is unfair. You can hear her full statement above.
