More details have emerged from the near-fatal shooting of Chicago rapper Lil Reese. According to WGN TV in Chicago, Reese was involved in what authorities describe as a "wild car chase" which culminated in the assailant firing 12 shots into Reese's Jeep Grand Cherokee. The rapper was struck once in the neck and remains hospitalized. No arrests have been made.

While Chicago rapper Lil Reese continues to fight for his life, police are still searching for the shooter. Surveillance stills were leaked earlier today and revealed what appears to be Reese's assailant. The hooded man is seen pointing what many believe to be a mini Draco AK-47 pistol at Reese's vehicle.

According to Johnna Kelly, a spokesperson for Advocate Christ Medical Center, Lil Reese is in critical condition after suffering a single gunshot wound to the neck. Authorities say that Reese was shot inside a vehicle by a gunman with a small rifle.

According to several reports, rapper Lil Reese has been shot in his hometown of Chicago. Though information is scant, police have confirmed that a man was shot on 167th Street and Pulaski Road earlier today but have yet to disclose the victim's identity. Responding to the news, Lil Durk tweeted simply: "Resse good."
