Chico DeBarge was recently arrested in California for drug possession, as the singer reportedly was busted with meth.
DeBarge was in Burbank, California, at Walmart when he realized he locked his keys inside of his SUV. Police in the parking lot saw Chico trying to get inside of the SUV using a wire to unlock the door. Officers assumed DeBarge was attempting to break in, which prompted them to approach Chico and search him. When they searched the singer, police allegedly found meth in his pocket and noted they discovered drug paraphernalia in his vehicle.
Chico DeBarge was booked at the Burbank City Jail but was released. Charges against DeBarge are pending.
