While Yung Bans beat a murder charge and is officially off house arrest, the Atlanta rapper isn't off the prosecutors' radar after his name was brought up in connection with an unrelated armed robbery case in that involved two female lacrosse players from Life University.
During a bond hearing for the lacrosse players, Lyndsey Kallish, 19, and Lauren Rielly, 20, Yung Bans (real name Vas Coleman) had his name thrown in the mix at different points during the proceedings. According to WSBTV in Atlanta, "Yung Bans, whose legal name is Vas Coleman, was mentioned in Monday's bond hearing for Lyndsey Kallish and Lauren Rielly. The two women are accused of driving two masked men Nov. 8 to rob seven people at an Airbnb on Wylie Street."
While his name came up several times, Atlanta police did not report the extent of his connection to this armed robbery case. "The investigation is ongoing, and they have nothing new to release at this time," said Atlanta police spokeswoman TaSheena Brown.
