According to reports, two Chicago gangbangers allegedly executed a 9-year-old child in retaliation for his dad’s rival gang reportedly shooting some of their family members.
9-year-old Tyshawn Lee was playing in the park in November 2015 when he was befriended by the two men who eventually ended up killing him. The little boy was lured into an alleyway under guise of getting a juice box from his killers, who then murdered the child in cold blood.
Reports noted that Corey Morgan and Dwright Doty were facing first-degree murder charges in front of separate juries because they each blame one another for the murder. Doty was sentenced to 90 years in prison, while Morgan was sentenced to 65 years. Along with that, the getaway driver for the crime, Kevin Edwards pleaded guilty to first-degree murder. He was sentenced to 25 years in prison.
