According to reports, Blueface has avoided jail time for a felony gun charge that was looming over him. The rapper was initially charged in February 2019 after police caught the rapper with a fully-loaded unregistered firearm. Blueface was facing three years in prison. However, Blueface made an appearance in court on December 27 and pled “no contest” to the charge.

As a result, the rapper was given 36 months of probation, along with eight days of community service. The charge reportedly stems from an incident that took place in November 2018, where the rapper was arrested for allegedly retaliating with gunfire against a suspect after being robbed. Blueface was allegedly robbed at gunpoint at a gas station and went after the man who allegedly robbed him in his car. While going after the man, gunshots were allegedly exchanged, which resulted in a collision.
