According to video footage that surfaced, a Bronx man who was identified as Sonny Alloway was arrested after he attempted to snatch a young woman off a subway train while she was sleeping.
It was noted that the woman was able to get away from the man, but the man was beaten down hours later by vigilantes on the street who saw the viral clip. The man’s son, Sonny Jr. issued a statement on the incident via Facebook, saying “First I lost my mom, now my pops is dead to me. I’m so ashamed, embarrassed & mortified for the young lady that has had to experience this.” The police found Alloway in a Bronx deli trying to hide after he was attacked by people on the street for what he attempted to do.
