According to TMZ, the man targeted in a robbery connected to DaBaby is a concert promoter that the rapper felt shorted him for a show in Miami. A police report shows that the concert promoter gave DaBaby $20,000 for a show, but DaBaby claims he was owed $30,000.
DaBaby is accused of robbing the promoter for $80, his iPhone 7, and pouring apple juice on him. A second person was reportedly punched in the face during the incident.
Video surfaced of the robbery and DaBaby later being arrested. It was later revealed that he was booked on battery charges after authorities learned of an outstanding warrant for his arrest in Texas. He is being held until further notice because of the warrant and DaBaby is expected to appear in court today (January 3).

According to multiple outlets, DaBaby has been detained by Miami police for questioning about a robbery that members of his crew are alleged to have carried out. Video footage was released of the robbery showing alleged members of DaBaby's entourage assaulting the man and taking money and other property. It is important to note that DaBaby has not been implicated in the robbery as of yet and was not captured in the surveillance footage.

A video has been shared on social media apparently showing DaBaby being detained by police in Miami. The arrest was subsequently confirmed by Fox46 who say authorities have taken the Charlotte native into custody but no further details have been disclosed.
This latest arrest comes on the heels of DaBaby's last run-in with police over marijuana possession just days before Christmas.
