According to Detroit Police Chief Craig, 14 suspects were identified in a viral New Year’s Eve video that featured the alleged suspects shooting multiple gunshots into the air.
During a press conference that was addressing 2019 crime statistics, Craig brought up the cell phone footage, and even mentioned the exact blocks where the shooting took place. He noted that police have the names of 14 people they feel are involved in the situation, and also said they are a part of a street gang. The chief also said seven of the 14 people mentioned are on parole.
Police reportedly found 250 shell casings as a result of the shooting.
