Just as Aaron Hernandez's fiancée spoke out about the positive and negative comments she's received since the Netflix documentary was released, Hernandez's lawyer Jose Baez is speaking out as well. Baez took to Instagram days ago when the docuseries was initially released, writing:

I don’t give a damn about what some lame a** documentary has to say about Aaron. I knew him, they did not and while he was far from perfect, they are not even close to the truth. People have no idea how documentaries are made, the truth is usually found on the cutting room floor. These producers lied directly to my face, so I don’t expect their money-making scheme to be much better.

Baez recently spoke with TMZ to further air his grievances over the film, noting that the implications of Aaron's sexuality being the source of his suicide were false. Baez insists that the suicide was triggered by Hernandez's advanced CTE condition which he began developing as a youth football player.
