Video footage is circulating online appearing to show former NBA player and Saint Joseph's University standout Delonte West taking a beating on a Washington D.C. street and later handcuffed by law enforcement officers who attempted getting his side of the story.
West has a noted history of mental illness but has not yet received professional help according to sources close to his family and former teammates.
