Waka Flocka recently sat down for a rare interview with Everyday Struggle, where he explained why he transitioned out of rapping after finding a lot of success.
He that after having $30 million in the bank in 2013, his mindset changed about rapping. Waka explained, "At that point in my life I was being real on my dead brother. Why was I rapping? I'm rich, I wanted to be rich. So from that time to right now, I wanted to figure out how can I become a billionaire and a multi-millionaire off of business. Because I did it with rap. I was a wack rapper, like I knew I was wack but I was real. My realness overcame my wackness."
Waka went on to speak about his favorite rappers being DMX, Nas, KRS-One, and Goodie Mob, and he added, "I can't rap like them folks." You can hear his full statement above.
