YNW Melly appeared in court on Wednesday in a rather upbeat mood according to those in attendance. Melly, alongside YNW Bortlen, is currently in jail awaiting trial over the murders of two friends. Melly is charged with two counts of first-degree murder while Bortlen faces the same charges and two counts of accessory after the fact.
During Wednesday's hearing, YNW Melly was seen gesturing to his family and friends in attendance. His release doesn't appear to be imminent according to Complex, Melly's attorneys "continue to prepare for trial with a raft of depositions."
