Singer/songwriter Keri Hilson was trending on Twitter Sunday night and early Monday after she shared some "unconventional" views about the root cause of the coronavirus. According to Keri, the spread of the coronavirus was somehow linked to the development of 5G cellular technology. One of Hilson's tweets said on Sunday, “People have been trying to warn us about 5G for YEARS. Petitions, organizations, studies ... what we’re going thru is the affects (sic) of radiation,” before imploring followers with her next tweet which read, “5G launched in CHINA. Nov 1, 2019. People dropped dead. See attached & go to my IG stories for more. TURN OFF 5G by disabling LTE!!!”
On Monday, after consulting with her management team, Hilson deleted the thread which included a series of tweets and videos. That didn't stop the scores of Twitter users from dragging her afterward.
