According to reports, actor Fred Willard has passed away at the age of 86.
The actor’s daughter Hope issued a statement on the passing of her father, saying, “My father passed away very peacefully last night at the fantastic age of 86 years old. He kept moving, working, and making us happy until the very end. We loved him so very much. We will miss him forever."
The actor has been in numerous shows and movies during his career including ‘Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me,’ ‘Harold and Kumar Go To White Castle,’ 'Sesame Street,' 'Hey Arnold!,' ‘Family Guy,’ and ‘The Boondocks,” where he played the role Joe Petto—the teacher who called Riley the n-word.
One of Willard’s more prominent roles came when he played the character Ed Harken in ‘Anchorman’ starring Will Ferrell. Condolences to the family of Fred Willard.
