During the 2011 NBA lockout, LeBron James revealed that he was offered a contract from the Dallas Cowboys.
LeBron made the announcement during a sit-down on the Uninterrupted podcast, stating, "I had no idea how long the lockout was going to be. We really started to actually train to be a football player when it came to October or November." LeBron added that he was bulking up in the weight room in anticipation of trying out for the NFL, and his longtime friend and business manager Maverick Carter added that while LeBron never played, he has a signed contract from Cowboys owner Jerry Jones that he's framed.
