Protesters in Minneapolis continued to express their discontent on Wednesday as many began looting a local Target. Scores of other protesters came face-to-face with police in riot gear as they tried to tamp down the unrest. However, that same police presence was absent at the Target as the video shows people loading tons of stolen goods into baskets and carts.
Target is near the intersection where George Floyd was murdered by police after an officer pressed his knee into the neck of Floyd for several minutes despite the man's cries for help and the now-haunting phrase "I can't breathe."
While things are understandably hostile in Minneapolis, protests were staged in other cities across the country as a sign of solidarity, the most notable demonstration occurring in Los Angeles where Black Lives Matter protesters shut down part of the 101 freeway.
