Update 05/28/2020 3:02pm:
Minneapolis Police Department released additional bodycam footage from George Floyd's arrest, which has Floyd and another person redacted from the video. Floyd later died after Officer David Chauvin kneeled on Floyd's neck for over 8 minutes. Chauvin and three other officers, who were revealed to be Thomas Lane, Tou Thao and J. Alexander Kueng, were also fired. The new footage comes one day after surveillance footage showed Floyd complying with officers and not resisting arrest as the department previously claimed.
Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey is calling on charges to be filed against Chauvin, stating that he saw "nothing that would signal that this kind of force was necessary." Floyd's death is being investigated by the FBI and the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension.

Since the incident, all 4 officers involved in the incident have been arrested, while the FBI investigates the details surrounding Floyd's death.
