So far, protests over the death of George Floyd by ex-Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin has resulted in a nationwide backlash against police at demonstrations. Along with that, there have been many reports of people setting cop cars on fire during the protests. However, a man in Los Angeles pointed out that a particular cop car that a large crowd passed by was just placed in the middle of the street during a peaceful protest, which made it ready to be vandalized. The man noted the car was placed there, and the acts of vandalism along with the vehicle being set on fire was staged. Along with that, the man in the video pointed out the vehicle was an older model squad car that is no longer used by LAPD.
Via Twitter, the man pointed out groups of people eager to destroy the car, saying it was a group of people dressed like skateboards, although they had on brand-new clothes and brought brand-new skateboards to the protest. Take a look above.
