Police officers in Rochester, Minnesota were seen approaching a Black man and telling him that he was under arrest for a warrant. This comes amid ongoing protests in Minneapolis following the death of George Floyd after former officer David Chauvin kneeled on his neck until he was unresponsive.

When the man repeatedly told him he wasn't the person they were looking for, an officer told him that he was being detained. The officer then checked the man's ID and saw that he wasn't the person they were looking for, so they took him out of the handcuffs and told him he was free to leave. The man and a bystander then lambasted the officers, telling them that they had no right to put the man in handcuffs, which the officers defended, saying it is part of their job.
