Freddie Gibbs and DJ Akademiks found themselves embroiled in a heated back-and-forth on Twitter that seemingly began with a trolly tweet from Gibbs. "I’ll give a bad b**** 5k if they admit to sleeping with @Akademiks," said Gibbs. Akademiks shot back, "Freddie ... don’t play urself ... u not even more successful more than me. Relax ur self kid. U underground. Don’t try to ever play me. If u really wanna try me... a BLOGGER. Let’s go."
This kicked off a string of tweets from Akademiks calling Freddie Gibbs' success into question, in addition to his bank account. Conversely, Gibbs seemed to be trolling Akademiks with responses like, "Boy shut the f*** up. U pay for sex," and "I want proof that u didn’t have oral sex with Tekashi."
Needless to say, these two might be beyond the point of cordiality after this spat.
