Terry Crews joined TV host and political analyst, Roland Martin and addressed his recent tweet that set Twitter ablaze. Crews doubled down on his tweet, which read, "If you are a child of God, you are my brother and sister. I have family of every race, creed and ideology. We must ensure #blacklivesmatter doesn’t morph into #blacklivesbetter." He said that apparently only "some" black lives matter because he is being told to no longer speak on the topic. Crews said instead of being concerned about looking like a "coon" or a sellout, he's more concerned about the betterment of black lives. 

Despite his words, many saw Crews' latest statements as further proof of his unfitness to discuss the matter.

Terry Crews took to Twitter with another controversial statement on Tuesday (June 30), writing, "If you are a child of God, you are my brother and sister. I have family of every race, creed and ideology. We must ensure #blacklivesmatter doesn’t morph into #blacklivesbetter." 

This comes after Terry caught backlash for tweeting, "Defeating White supremacy without White people creates Black supremacy. Equality is the truth. Like it or not, we are all in this together." He defended his message on The Talk, stating, "What I said was, defeating white supremacy without white people could create Black supremacy. In Black America, we have gatekeepers." He added, "We have people who have decided who is going to be Black and who’s not," he continued. "And I simply — because I have a mixed-race wife (Rebecca King-Crews) — have been discounted from the conversation a lot of the time, by very, very militant movements, the Black power movement. I’ve been called all kinds of things — like an Uncle Tom — simply because I’m successful, simply because I’ve worked my way out of Flint, Michigan."

Godfrey called out Terry, both on Twitter and in a recent interview with VladTV. Godfrey addressed Crews, telling him, "I love you as a friend Brother Terry. But I disagree with you 100 %. No such thing as Black Supremacy. That is a tactic that Racist whites use to counteract our rebellion to their horrific treatment of us. It's called Gas lighting. Black pride isn't anti white."
