Former Godfather's Pizza CEO and 2012 Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain was hospitalized on Wednesday after contracting the coronavirus - two weeks after attending Donald Trump's Tulsa rally maskless. “We are sorry to announce that Herman Cain has tested positive for COVID-19, and is currently receiving treatment in an Atlanta-area hospital,” said Cain's representatives.

The 74-year-old was tested positive for COVID-19 on June 29 and developed symptoms that warranted hospitalization by Wednesday. The statement argued, however, that “there is no way of knowing for sure how or where Mr. Cain contracted the coronavirus,” but his illness seemingly aligns with the incubation cycle of COVID-19.
