It was announced early Thursday that five people (two minors and three adults) were apprehended in connection with the death of rapper Pop Smoke. Investigators believe the group had no prior connection to Pop Smoke and only found him after the Brooklynite accidentally shared his location on social media. But according to PNB Rock, there's more to the story than outlets have reported.
"N***as don't even know the whole story," said PNB Rock during an Instagram Live session. "My man Pop Smoke popped one of them n***as in the crib. N***as tried to run down and got gunned down. Your man caught one of them n***as. You feel me? That's heavy to me."
It's not immediately clear where PNB Rock received this information but details emerging from the crime scene have been scant. As the investigation progresses, the accuracy of PNB Rock's assertion will be tested.
