In this clip, Kamaiyah spoke to VladTV about making the XXL Freshman cover in 2017 and doing a commercial with LeBron in 2018. Despite the big moves happening in her career, Kamaiyah felt that she was being held back by YG, adding that he didn't want her to release new music while she was getting all of the promotion on various media platforms. When speaking about "Before I Wake," Kamaiyah said it was jab at Interscope because of the way she felt at the time, and Kamaiyah added that she hates the project and has tried to get it taken down.
