Jada Pinkett-Smith sat down with her husband Will to address August Alsina's recent allegations about his relationship with Jada. The famed couple explained that they "specifically" didn't respond to recent headlines about the situation because it was a personal thing, but they felt like it was time to speak publicly on The Red Table Talk.
Jada and Will explained that they first met August when he was really sick and they came together to find resources to help him, and in the process, Jada and Will decided to take a break. Jada explained, "From there as time went on I got into a different kind of entanglement with August. One thing I want to clean up… about you giving 'permission' which is... the only person that can give permission in that circumstance is myself."
She added, "But what August was probably trying to communicate because I could see how he could see it as permission because we were separated amicably, and I think he wanted to make it clear he’s not a homewrecker because he’s not."
Jada went on to speak about taking her split from Will to heal and learn more about herself. She added that they have gotten to a place of "unconditional love" in their relationship. To hear more, hit the above video.
