Megan Thee Stallion took to Instagram to set the record straight on her run-in with police while riding in a car with Tory Lanez. Megan explained that she was seeing a lot of inaccurate reports on the situation, so she wanted to clear some things up, including reports that she went to the hospital after being cut by glass. 

She wrote, "The narrative that is being reported about Sunday’s morning events are inaccurate and I’d like to set the record straight. On Sunday morning, I suffered gunshot wounds, as a result of a crime that was committed against me and done with the intention to physically harm me.

"I was never arrested, the police officers drove me to the hospital where I underwent surgery to remove the bullets. I’m incredibly grateful to be alive and that I’m expected to make a full recovery, but it was important for me to clarify the details about this traumatic night. I’m currently focused on my recovery, so I can return back to my life and back to making music as soon as possible." 

The LAPD responded to Megan's post, telling TMZ, "At the time Megan Thee [Stallion] was with police she did not report that she was the victim of any crime. And the LAPD has not received any additional information at this time."

Previously, news surfaced, noting that Tory Lanez was arrested and charged for possession of a concealed weapon, which is a felony in California. Megan Thee Stallion and another woman were reportedly in the car with Lanez before he was arrested. Now news surfaced, saying Meg was rushed to the hospital following Lanez’s arrest.

Megan was listed as a “victim” in the police report, and that is due to an injury she received while the incident was going down.  The Texas rapper reportedly caught a critical laceration on her foot from broken glass that was on the ground from the scene of the initial incident. Despite the alarming situation, Megan Thee Stallion was taken to the hospital immediately in Los Angeles, where her injuries were treated, and she was eventually discharged. TMZ is reporting that Tory Lanez has been arrested on gun charges after an argument at a house party led to authorities finding a gun in his vehicle. Police received a disturbance call around 4:30 AM Sunday about loud arguing outside of a Hollywood Hills residence. Soon after the arguing commenced, shots were fired in the air as the vehicle took off. 

After authorities were given the description of the vehicle, it was subsequently located and police found Tory along with Meg Thee Stallion and another woman. The cops then searched the vehicle where they found a gun. Tory was then taken to jail and charged with possession of a concealed weapon which is a felony in California.
