In this clip, Kathleen Bradley talked about her upbringing in Ohio and her eventual migration to California in pursuit of a career in entertainment. Kathleen detailed competing in and winning the Miss Black California pageant which afforded her an opportunity to travel outside of the country. She was also part of a seven-woman group called "The Love Machine" that was signed to Motown. Despite not being a huge commercial success in the United States, The Love Machine gained notoriety in France and Germany.
