A hitman dressed as a FedEx worker shot and killed Daniel Anderl, the 20-year-old son of Judge Esther Salas, who recently took over a lawsuit involving investors suing Deutsche Bank over its involvement in the handling of financial matters related to sexual predator Jeffrey Epstein. Salas' husband, Mark Anderl, was also wounded in the attack at their New Jersey home and is expected to survive.
A deceased lawyer is a prime suspect in the case, and according to multiple reports, he was found dead shortly after the incident. The lawyer was found with a package addressed to the judge, and it was revealed that he previously had a case before the judge.
